STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT: CREATING AN EFFECTIVE MULTI-SECTORAL APPROACH TOWARDS PEACEBUILDING.
The Zimbabwe Peacebuilding Trust conducted its Stakeholder Inception Meetings in Shamva and Bindura Districts on the 20th and the 27th of May 2021 respectively.
These meetings sought to introduce the organisation to various stakeholders within these districts with the desire of identifying possible areas of collaboration towards peacebuilding as well as familiarising ZPT staff with the context of these districts.
The platform ushered in strong commitment towards peacebuilding as the invited stakeholders pledged to collaborate with ZPT in its programming area of preventing, managing, resolving and transforming conflicts in Bindura and Shamva Districts.
In attendance were various government representatives, the Traditional and Religious Leadership and the Local Authority representation of the respective districts.
